A little about me - My favorite genre to read is military sci-fi but I also love Laurell K. Hamilton’s Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series and the Merry Gentry series. I love discovering the work of other indie authors and right now I’m really into Aron Beauregard's splatterpunk extravaganza, Through the Eyes of Desperation, and Claire L. Fishback's paranormal thriller series Origin Codex.
In line with my favorite genre, I am also a HUGE Warhammer 40,000 fan and I am particularly partial to the lore, which is EXTENSIVE. My favorite authors from Games Workshop’s publishing house, The Black Library, are Dan Abnett, Guy Haley (who once retweeted a picture of my chaos marines!), Aaron Dembski-Bowden, and Nate Crowley. A little about my writing - My biggest project and main series is The Slaughter Chronicles; a supernatural suspense/contemporary grimdark/dark fantasy about the exploits of Regina Slaughter, a genetically modified werewolf and monster hunter. And it’s about her pet Squee, a terrestrial jellyfish monster that loves Twinkies and David Bowie.
I also write random short stories and poetry of a speculative nature.
